Help

Learn how to add trades, import data, and get the most out of VantoraTrade.

Add a Trade Manually

Enter trade details by hand — ideal for single trades or quick entries.

1

Open the trade form

Click the "Add Trade" button in the sidebar. On expanded view it appears as a split button — clicking the main area opens the manual entry form directly.

2

Fill in the core details

Enter the symbol (e.g. AAPL, BTC/USD), direction (Long or Short), entry price, exit price, quantity, and trade date. Required fields are marked.

3

Add optional context

Use the Notes field to record your reasoning. Add tags to categorise trades by strategy or setup, and set a mood to track your emotional state at the time.

4

Save

Click Save Trade. Your trade will appear immediately in your Journal and Dashboard.

Tip: You can attach screenshots to any trade after saving — open the trade in your Journal and use the Attachments section.

Add a Trade via Screenshot

Let AI read your broker screenshot and pre-fill the trade form for you.

1

Open the trade form

Click the Add Trade button in the sidebar to open the manual entry modal. It is in the Dashboard sidebar on the left.

2

Upload your screenshot

Inside the form, find the screenshot upload area. Drag and drop your broker screenshot, or click to browse and select a file (PNG, JPG, or WebP).

3

Let AI extract the data

VantoraTrade's AI vision model reads the screenshot and identifies the symbol, direction, entry/exit prices, quantity, and date. This takes a few seconds.

4

Review and confirm

The extracted values are pre-filled into the form fields. Check each one, make any corrections, then click Save.

Best results: Use screenshots that clearly show the trade confirmation or position summary from your broker. Crop out unrelated content for faster, more accurate parsing.

Import Trades from CSV

Bulk-import your trade history from a broker export or spreadsheet.

1

Export from your broker

Download a trade history CSV from your broker's platform. Most brokers offer this under Account History, Trade History, or Reports.

2

Open the Import modal

Click the chevron (▾) on the "Add Trade" button and select "Import", or use the Upload button elsewhere in the app.

3

Select the CSV tab and upload

Switch to the CSV tab in the Import modal. Drag your file onto the upload area or click to browse. Files up to 5 MB are supported.

4

Map columns (if prompted)

VantoraTrade will attempt to auto-detect your broker's column format. If a column can't be matched automatically, use the dropdown to map it to the correct field.

5

Review and import

A preview of the parsed trades is shown. Deselect any rows you want to skip, then click Import. All trades are added to your Journal at once.

Note: Duplicate detection runs automatically — trades with the same symbol, date, and price as an existing entry will be flagged before import.
